We are all busy!
I have two jobs, two kittens and fortunately only one "better half" that take up a huge portion of my time. On top of that I need to find time to exercise, watch my favourite TV programmes (currently Empire, Apprentice and Homeland) and get some sleep. So finding time to cook healthy tasty food, you may think, would be a hard task... However I use these 7 tips to help save time: You must have seen the media frenzy about sugar recently (well every day it seems) Well sugar is getting a bad press again! But is it justified? And how easy is it to actually reduce your sugar intake? Is SUGAR really making you FAT?
We are so reliant on mobile phones nowadays most people would rather lose their wallet than their phone
I lost my phone on holiday recently and one of my first thoughts was how am I going to wake up in the morning, I have no alarm! Sad i know, but it's a perfect example of how attached we are to them They are so advanced now they literally do everything Except one thing The batteries don't last! I'm happy to say we live in a nice neighbourhood, surrounded by families and retired couples
Not much goes on around here, kids play outside, people walk their dogs, the odd horse rider goes past the window And then I moved in! The weirdo who does gorilla movements up and down the street Who scared off some Jehovah's witnesses (unintentionally) with my screaming and grunting during a particularly tough workout in my garage gym But now the think I am just plain crazy Why? Well on Saturday night, my step counter was at 9400 600 off my target (my watch flashes and vibrates when I hit 10,000 which i kinda like) So I got off the sofa and started to pace up and down the living room! The next door neighbour was loading up his car and saw my and waved ^^^This was about 100 steps in, 500 to go He then preceded to see my walk up to the window every few seconds for the next 5 minutes with an incredibly confused look on his face! Thankfully my watch gave me the tell tale buzz and I could stop I had hit my target! I have done this 3 or 4 times now! Obsessed? Maybe I like to look at it though as I have a target, I get rewarded for hitting it My little bar on the app goes green too! I hate the amber or red line! And it gets me doing a bit more activity than I would have done normally Every little helps! Are you targetting yourself? Are you sticking to your targets? If not, why not? Have you set them too high? Is other stuff (life) getting in the way? It all comes down to planning (and being a little SMARTER) with what you set yourself! if you have a goal, but have no targets each day and week, there is NO way you will get there! It's just too random and unpredictable a journey without a map! Get planning, get targetting, get yourself on the path to success! |
